Paddlers’ Pledge
Take the Paddlers’ Pledge and help support cancer research and care in our community.
The Paddler’s Pledge Program is an integral part of the festival’s fundraising efforts so we invite you and your team to participate and add some friendly fundraising competition to your Dragon Boat experience while supporting the BC Cancer Foundation.
You can fund raise as a team or you can each set your own target and fund raise individually. There are many easy ways to raise money, from setting up a fundraising page to hosting a pub night or holding a 50/50 or raffle at work. No matter how you decide to fund raise you will be supporting world-class research happening right here in the festival’s host city of Victoria and you have a chance to win free registration for your team for next year’s festival! There are also prizes for the top individual fundraisers and the other top fundraising teams. In the past decade, the Paddlers’ Pledge Program alone has raised $430,000 for the BC Cancer Foundation!
